Vasco has known from a very early age that he was destined to work in the wine industry. The smells, history and people he encountered on trips to Régua and Tua in the Douro Valley, and visits to the Port wine cellars and the tasting room where his father worked every day, instilled a passion for the world of wine. After graduating in marketing, Vasco later took a graduate degree in oenology. He has worked in various places, gaining experience in almost all areas of wine, winemaking, viticulture, sales and marketing. This broad knowledge has equipped him to fulfil his dreams of working in this extraordinary region and helping to promote Douro wines throughout the world.
