The origins of Quinta do Convento de São Pedro das Águias Convent date back to the 12th century, when monks of the Cistercian Order settled in the Távora Valley, contributing to the introduction of vineyard culture in the region. The Quinta do Convento White Reserve is made from Rabigato, Viosinho and Gouveio varieties, which ferment and age for 10 months in French oak barrels.
