Kranemann Wine Estates has just launched new vintages in the white range from Quinta do Convento de São Pedro das Águias, the iconic Douro estate which dates back to the 12th century. These wines express the freshness and elegance of the Távora Valley's high-altitude terroir. Hasso White 2021 is a wine with a versatile and seductive profile. Quinta do Convento White 2021 has a fresh, mineral character. Quinta do Convento Reserve 2019 is an enormously elegant and complex wine. A true expression of the estate.
"We aim to maintain and refine the profile of exceptional wines, which, year after year, have stood out for the genuine character they demonstrate. They share, above all, great freshness, and elegance, guaranteed by the high-altitude terroir where Quinta do Convento de São Pedro das Águias is located", winemaker Diogo Lopes. "Between the seductive Hasso on one side, which is from a more exuberant fruit suited to everyday, and the complexity of the Reserve, on the other, we always have fresh, mineral and very captivating wines. The Reserve is arriving at the perfect time, as it's an excellent accompaniment for Christmas dishes like the traditional salt codfish, which demand a special, elegant white with a good structure", adds Susete Melo, Head of Viticulture and Oenology at Kranemann Wine Estates.
The new wines from Kranemann Wine Estates are already available in Portugal and internationally through the usual distribution partners.
