Quinta do Convento is part of the Douro’s history. It originates from the 12th century, when monks of the Cistercian Order settled in the Távora Valley, contributing to the introduction of vineyard culture. Thanks to the unique terroir, with poor soil and vineyards at high altitude that are exposed to the north, this estate is renowned for producing elegant, fresh white wines with great aging potential.
