Her passion for the land led her to study Agricultural Engineering. After a harvest internship at a small wine producer in the Lisbon region, the wine industry beckoned. Tânia specialized in viticulture and oenology. Active involvement in grape harvests from the Alentejo to California sparked her curiosity about the commercial side of the wine business. Tânia transitioned into the world of marketing and sales. From 2008, she managed the wine portfolio of a key Portuguese distributor, where she worked with many well-known producers. Tânia continued her marketing and sales work, gathering practical knowledge in an area close to her heart and adding a postgraduate degree in the wine business to her CV. Tanias' next challenge was taking over the management of the domestic market sales for an innovative group of Douro producers. Bringing together the best of both worlds, she was closer to the vineyards, vines and winery, while working in sales and marketing. Several years of experience in one of her favourite regions, the Douro Valley, ensued until her wine adventures crossed paths with Kranemann Wine Estates.
